The MEDX ZPA Schuko extension cord is particularly well-suited for use in medical settings to safely power electrical devices. The MEDX single-outlet medical extension cord offers a customized solution for your systems and practice spaces, ideally adapted to local conditions in terms of capacity and space. At the same time, the MEDX allows single-outlet devices to be connected via an ZPA (additional equipotential bonding). This safely prevents potential differences between electrical devices in medical settings.
The TÜV-certified grounded outlet extension cord meets, among other things, the relevant requirements of the DIN EN 60601-1 standard for multiple-outlet receptacles within the patient environment and can be used in rooms classified as Application Group 2 according to VDE 100 Part 710.
Each Schuko extension cord features an additional equipotential bonding (ZPA) and a pull-out protection mechanism. The module is individually protected against short circuits by two microfuses.
