Square, practical, safe: the Baaske MED4-Q400AN EU medical multi-socket is a real space saver and impresses with its quality and safety in all areas. For example, for use directly at the patient's bedside, in the operating room, or on mobile equipment carts for endoscopy or mobile rounds. Eight fuses protect valuable equipment from power grid disturbances. In addition, the MED4-Q400AN EU has an additional overload protection feature. This ensures that the main switch does not trip even if the total load exceeds 3500W. The MED4-Q400AN EU multiple socket outlet provides an additional equipotential bonding (ZPA) for each consumer and can be used as a ZPA distributor.
8x 2G melt inserts & 1x overload protection
The Baaske MED4-Q400AN EU medical multi-socket outlet has 2 fuses per socket insert (2G melt inserts). Connected consumers are doubly protected, regardless of which way the Schuko plugs of the devices are inserted into the multi-socket outlet. In the event of a fault, only the device causing the fault fails; the other connected consumers can continue to operate safely. The eight fuse inserts can be replaced during operation. Another plus: the additional overload protection. This ensures that the main switch does not trip even if the total load exceeds 3500W.
Square 4-way power strip for medical use
The European standard EN60601-1 for the electrical safety of medical electrical equipment stipulates that, in the case of multiple sockets used in the patient environment, the existing electrical system must not be modified without re-testing in accordance with EN 60601-1-2. For this reason, medical multiple socket strips must be secured against accidental removal or addition of plugs. The pull-out protection on the power strips must only be able to be opened with tools and by a specialist. The Baaske MED4 - Q400 AN multiple socket outlet meets these requirements and also scores points with many features that are important for use in the medical field. For example, the MED4-Q400AN EU multiple socket strip provides one ZPA per consumer and has an additional equipotential bonding (ZPA) on the housing. This means that the Q400 AN can also be used as a ZPA distribution unit.

The Baaske MED4-Q400 AN multiple socket outlet meets the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of EN 60601-1-2. In addition, this product has been certified by TÜV as compliant with IEC 60601-1:2005 + A1:2012, IEC 60601-1:2005 + A1:2012/AMD1:2012, and ISO 80601-2-13:2011/AMD1:2005.
