Our company, Baaske Medical GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2007 by managing director Andreas Baaske and has since stood for electrically safe computer hardware. Components and systems from Baaske Medical, especially our own brand e-medic™, are tested for suitability for use in patient environments. With our products, we actively contribute to electrically safe information technology in patient care.
Our range is aimed at medical facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices, as well as suppliers, specialist dealers, and manufacturers working in the field of medical technology or information technology.
We, Baaske Medical GmbH & Co. KG, offer you a carefully selected product portfolio on these pages. The article text for all devices offered here specifies the standards according to which these devices have been tested. For example, devices tested according to medical standards are marked with DIN EN / IEC 60601-1 or DIN EN 60601-1-2. Standard office devices that have not been specifically tested for use in a patient environment are marked with DIN EN / IEC 60950 or DIN EN / IEC 55022. This allows you to immediately assess whether a component has been tested according to medical standards or not.
Before we include a product in our range, we first check the manufacturer's CE declaration of conformity and, if necessary, request the relevant laboratory reports. After this classification, the products are labeled in our portfolio.
History
Solid growth within a few years
Andreas Baaske founded the company in 2007. He started out as Baaske Datentechnik e. K. working from his home office. The first successful product was the MI 1005 network isolator, initially developed for industrial use. Today, it is used wherever patients, users, and inventory need to be protected from dangerous leakage currents within a few seconds.
Due to the digitization of imaging procedures in medical technology and the growing need for networking in healthcare, electrically safe information technology close to the patient is becoming increasingly important. Medical IT systems, screens, additional isolators, and uninterruptible power supply systems quickly became part of Baaske Medical's product portfolio.
Electrical safety – a company goal from the very beginning
The company's goal from the very beginning was to improve electrical safety for patients. In addition, Andreas Baaske and his team at Baaske Medical are committed to reducing costs for operators while increasing effectiveness, ensuring quality, and improving performance for users.
After the number of employees rose to four in 2010, the company changed its name to Baaske Medical GmbH & Co. KG and doubled the size of its rented business premises. Regular participation in trade fairs and congresses ensures steady, solid growth. The expanding areas of marketing, purchasing, sales, and warehousing prompted company founder Andreas Baaske to decide in 2012 to build a new office building with a production hall.
