In principle, all MED MI1005 network isolators are ideally suited for standard-compliant galvanic isolation of Ethernet-based signal interfaces (SIP/SOPs) in the medical sector and have two independent protective measures (2 MOPP) for the patient in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60601-1. With 5kV you exceed the dielectric strength (4 KV AC) specified for two MOPPs and deliver the currently highest possible transmission rate of 1000 Mbps.
The MED MI1005 network isolators have been developed for three user groups.
Flexible use - MED MI 1005
The flexible and easy way to isolate medical devices immediately. The network isolator MED MI 1005 scores with its easy handling. In less than 5 seconds the universal network isolator protects patient, user and inventory from dangerous leakage currents. No installation is required for commissioning and due to the passive, electronic components, no separate power supply is required.
Built-in insulator - MED MI 1005 E
In addition to network isolators with permanently mounted cables, the MI 1005 E network isolator provides a simple and cost-effective way of isolating medical devices from the device housing wall. This makes this network isolator particularly suitable for manufacturers of medical devices. Thanks to the Harting Push Pull technology, the MI 1005 E Medical Built In Isolator can be easily and quickly installed in existing devices. Long availability also provides the planning reliability required for new product development.
Wall mounting - MED MI 1005 MB
The passive network isolator MED MI 1005 MB has been specially developed for wall mounting. It enables galvanic network isolation of medical electrical devices and systems directly from the wall. Once firmly mounted in the wall, the insulator is well protected by the housing. Accidental shocks can be compensated and the network isolator as well as the connector of the network cable remain undamaged.
