Sony HVO-550MD HD-Videor Recorder
Compatible with a wide range of systems & external control accessories
From patient records to teaching, training, and referral to other physicians, HD video recording brings greater convenience and detail to modern medical workflows.
The HVO-550MD medical network digital recorder is specifically designed for use in a wide variety of clinical environments, including hospital radiology departments, operating rooms, surgery centers, and physician offices.
The recorder is capable of storing high-definition video from ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscopic, laparoscopic, and other compatible diagnostic and surgical imaging systems and features extensive connectivity for a wide range of current and legacy devices.
High-definition or standard-definition video is stored on the HVO-550MD's large internal hard drive. Simple menu selection allows videos to be recorded simultaneously to an external USB drive or network server, or burned directly to the internal DVD drive. This simultaneous recording feature saves time. This eliminates the need to export or copy videos to another storage medium after recording. This feature also provides additional protection against the risk of losing valuable data.
The recorder is an ideal replacement for the DVO-1000MD. By using the same command set for control via RS-232C or USB, it enables a smooth transition to a hard-drive-based HD workflow.
