TEAC UR-4MD High Definition Recorder

Proven, powerful & reliable

The TEAC UR-4MD is a successful high-definition medical video recorder designed for quick setup and easy operation, yet offering a wide range of features and capabilities. Thanks to automatic video connection detection and automatic video resolution detection, setup is quick and easy. The front panel control panel allows users to intuitively record videos and photos in crystal-clear Full HD resolution at the touch of a button or via a foot switch. A built-in hard disk drive enables reliable recording and data backup. However, you can also record simultaneously to USB memory sticks and USB hard drives to archive, share, and play back videos and still images on other devices and in other locations. The UR-4MD is also network-ready and can be upgraded with a DICOM option.

DICOM integration

With the UR-4MD, you can add more connectivity and integration options at a fraction of the cost. With an optional upgrade, the UR-4MD acts as a DICOM gateway, providing a truly cost-effective solution for connecting your existing modalities (including non-DICOM-enabled ones), surgical microscopes, and video endoscopy systems to any picture archiving and communication system (PACS). The result is simple DICOM integration with modality worklist management and DICOM storage.

Just connect. Stay connected

The UR-4MD automatically detects the input video signal and adjusts to the video resolution. It then configures itself so that it is ready for recording. This increases convenience and improves workflow. You can start recording with just a few clicks. *It can also be set up and configured manually.
