Sony HVO-500MD Full HD Medical Recorder (Surgical Version)
Medical video camera for recording via USB/NAS and for still image capture
The Sony HVO-500MD (OP Version) is a compact medical video recorder for secure Full HD recording in clinical environments. Designed for use in operating rooms and medical centers, the device offers crystal-clear recording of surgical procedures, endoscopic procedures, or other image-based applications. The integrated user interface on the front display allows for easy operation – even when wearing gloves. Thanks to extensive connection options such as HDMI, S-Video, DVI-D, BNC video, USB, LAN, and audio (IN/OUT), the HVO-500MD can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems. Additional potential equalization ensures maximum operational safety in sensitive operating rooms.
From patient records to teaching, training, and referrals to other doctors: thanks to Full HD video recording, modern medical workflows offer greater convenience and detail.
The recorder is compact, lightweight, and quiet in operation, and stores Full HD or SD video on its large internal hard drive. With simple menu selection, videos can be recorded simultaneously to an external USB drive or network server. This simultaneous recording feature supports modern hospital workflows and provides additional protection against the loss of valuable data.
Photos can also be captured, played back, and then printed using an optional Sony UP-DR80MD color printer.
