Our goal was to create a user-friendly printer that improves image quality (color matching software, up to 423 dpi) and supports a wide range of print media (standard/laminated). The UP-D25MD features a more compact design. Designed for use in endoscopy trolleys The UP-D25MD was designed for installation in modern endoscopy trolleys with a width of just 212 mm. Sony UP-DR80MD A4 Digital Colour Printer High-quality colour printing for medical applications The world's smallest A4 color simulation printer is compact and has been specially developed for integration into digital imaging systems such as ultrasound devices, endoscopes, and other medical modalities. With a resolution of 301 dpi and 8-bit color gradation (256 levels) for cyan, magenta, and yellow, it delivers high-quality prints in A4 format in just about 76 seconds. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 317 x 207 x 425 mm and a weight of approx. 11.5 kg, it can be easily integrated into medical work environments. The printer uses the proven UPC-R80MD (A4) and UPC-R81MD (Letter) media and offers versatile connectivity via USB 3.0. The high-quality thermal print engine can produce prints of still images from such systems for use in patient records and referrals. (Note that images printed by the UP-D898MD cannot be used for diagnosis.) The UP-D898MD is a successor to Sony's popular UP-897 series of medical printers. Smaller than its predecessor (UP-970AD), the UP-971AD offers high-quality prints of still images from the imaging systems, which can be used as reference images for patient records or referrals. It shares the same front panel as the UP-D898MD and offers numerous improvements in usability and ergonomics.
