Sony UP-DR80MD A4 Digital Colour Printer High-quality colour printing for medical applications The world's smallest A4 color simulation printer is compact and has been specially developed for integration into digital imaging systems such as ultrasound devices, endoscopes, and other medical modalities. With a resolution of 301 dpi and 8-bit color gradation (256 levels) for cyan, magenta, and yellow, it delivers high-quality prints in A4 format in just about 76 seconds. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 317 x 207 x 425 mm and a weight of approx. 11.5 kg, it can be easily integrated into medical work environments. It is designed for integration with a wide range of compatible medical imaging systems, such as mobile C-arms, cardiac catheterization labs, and digital ultrasound systems. The high-quality thermal print engine can produce printouts of still images from such systems for use in patient records and referrals. (Note that images printed by the UP-D898DC cannot be used for diagnosis.) The UP-D898DC is the DC-powered version of the UP-898 printer series. It shares the same front panel as the UP-D898MD and offers numerous improvements in usability and ergonomics.
