The multiple socket outlets MED5 ZPA are particularly suitable for use in the medical sector, for example to provide several electrical devices with electricity. At the same time, the MED5 enables connected devices to be connected via a PE (additional equipotential equalization). In this way, potential differences between electrical devices in medical applications can be safely prevented.
The TÜV-tested multiple sockets meet the relevant requirements of the DIN EN60601-1 standard for multiple sockets within the patient environment and can be used in rooms of application group 2.
Each socket insert is individually protected against a short-circuit by 2 fine-wire fuses, so by a failure of one connected device the operation of the other connected devices can be continued. Defective fuses can be replaced during operation due to their special design. A further plus: the solid aluminum housing offers a maximum of stability and tare weight.
