Medical multiple sockets
For multiple sockets used in patient environments, EN 60601 stipulates that existing electrical systems may not be modified without re-testing in accordance with EN 60601-1-2. For this reason, medical power strips must be secured against accidental removal or addition of plugs. The pull-out protection of the power strips may only be opened with tools and by a specialist. Medical power strips are required wherever certain safety requirements are imposed on the power supply and the distribution of electricity. Our medical multiple sockets are ideally suited for use in all rooms of application group 2 according to VDE Part 710.
