Acceptance test according to DIN 6868-157 Testing & calibration The partial acceptance test according to DIN 6868-157:2014-11 involves testing and calibrating a diagnostic workstation with one or two screens (including monitor, graphics card or graphics driver, display software such as DICOM viewer, and display sources such as PACS). In accordance with §16 of the German X-ray Ordinance (RöV), an acceptance test in accordance with DIN 6868-157 must be carried out during the installation and configuration of an image reproduction system. Among other things, this test checks whether the integrated screen of the image reproduction system is controlled at the correct resolution and whether the required reference values are complied with in accordance with the declared room class and the diagnostic method. Both the area of activity and the ambient light are taken into account, as they have a significant influence on the image quality of the monitor.
