Fanless Micro-PC for medical applications
e-medic™ presents with this fanless Micro-PC a high-quality housing for demanding users. The special CPU cooling design offers the usual reliable and quiet operation even under full load. Powerful Intel® processors of the 7th generation find enough space in the case with just 5.4 cm height, and convince with very low power consumption even at high computational power. Modern interfaces such as 4x USB 3.0, 2x HDMI, and LAN in combination with the RS232 serial interface also simplify the integration into existing systems. This micro case has VESA mounting points and can be easily attached to a table, wall support arm or monitor.

Small and powerful
With a height of 5.4 cm, a width of 20 cm and a depth of 17.6 cm, the e-medic™ Silence XT is one of the smallest micro computers for medical use. The small housing still offers enough space for powerful Intel® NUC boards of the 7th generation. It is therefore ideally suited as the basis for a fully-fledged practice system for use on ward trolleys and as a control interface for medical equipment.

The improvement of IT security is fundamentally relevant for all hospitals. The security of patients and their (treatment) data is not only a central element of today's care processes, but is already derived from legal obligations such as KRITIS or data protection. In order to support doctors' practices, hospitals, clinics and supply centres in improving IT security, the e-medic™ Silence XT is also available with a closed cover to prevent access to the system via the front USB interfaces.
Fanless Cooling CPU Design
The temperature inside the closed, fanless aluminium housing is exclusively stabilized by a special CPU cooling system. The heat of the CPU is dissipated directly to the housing via an aluminium heat sink. A "hedgehog design" specially developed for micro computers is used to ensure stable running performance even at maximum computing power. The available housing area is enlarged in the same space, so that more space is gained for temperature compensation.
VESA Mount
The e-medic&trade Silence XT can be quickly and easily attached to any standard VESA 100x100 holding point by using the M4 screws included in delivery. All you need to do is attach the M4 screws to the four VESA mounting points on the monitor. At the bottom of the case there are special notches, which can be used to mount the Micro-PC.

Electrical safety
The e-medic&trade Silence XT-M fullfits the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility according to EN 60601-1-2. In addition, the power supply of this product has been tested by TÜV with respect to compliance with EN 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1.
